Der BVT* lädt zur 2. Community-Werkstatt ein /
13. bis 15. Oktober 2023 in Hannover
– Mit Aufruf zur Mitgestaltung der Veranstaltung und des Programms!

Dieses Jahr findet die Community-Werkstatt des BVT* zum zweiten Mal statt. Wir freuen uns sehr, erstmalig in Präsenz zusammenzukommen! Unter dem Motto „Community Werkstatt – Begegnungen und Bündnisse: Spaces für Austausch, Vernetzung und kreatives Miteinander“ laden wir herzlich vom 13. bis 15. Oktober 2023 nach Hannover in den Pavillon ein.
Die Veranstaltung ist für alle trans*, nicht-binären und gender nonconforming Personen offen. Für alle, die trans* sind und den BVT* noch nicht kennen, den BVT* schon länger kennen oder auch für alle, die aus intersektionaler Perspektive trans*aktivistisch unterwegs sind.
Wir freuen uns insbesondere über die Perspektiven von Personen und Communities, wie zum Beispiel: trans* Sexarbeiter*innen, QTBi_PoC, be_hinderte trans* Personen, aus ländlichen Regionen, nicht akademisierte Personen, betroffen von Klassismus, neurodivergente trans* Personen, jüngere und auch ältere Menschen. Die Veranstaltungen werden Teils auf deutscher und Teils auf englischer Sprache stattfinden. Übersetzungen ins Englische und in deutsche Gebärdensprache sind möglich.
Die Community-Werkstatt ist eine Veranstaltung, die wir gemeinsam gestalten. Wir wollen Räume schaffen, in denen verschiedene Trans*communities zusammenkommen, sich kennenlernen, austauschen und etwas Schönes erleben. Viele unterschiedliche Formate wie Workshops und Skillsharing, Playshops, Vernetzungsrunden, Empowerment Spaces, offene Diskussionen, Performances, Konzerte, Filmabende, eine Open Mic Session und vieles mehr können bei der Community-Werkstatt stattfinden.
Gestalte das Programm mit uns!
Darin könnt ihr Räume schaffen, in denen wir aus verschiedenen Trans*communities zusammenkommen, uns kennenlernen, austauschen und etwas Schönes erleben. Genauso gehören Spaces für BI_PoC only oder trans* femme only dazu, so wie bspw. auch für trans*, inter und nicht-binäre Jugendliche, „über 50“ oder für Communities auf dem Land, um sich gegenseitig zu stärken.
Hier noch ein paar Themen als Inspiration, aber bringt sehr gerne eure Ideen darüber hinaus! Öffentlicher Aktivismus, Antidiskriminierungsarbeit, Sexualität und Self-care, Trans*geschichte, Dekolonialität, Critical Whiteness, Workshop zu biografischem Schreiben, nur um ein paar Möglichkeiten zu nennen. Was für Angebote würdest du gern besuchen? Erzähl uns gerne über deine Ideen für die Community-Werkstatt!
Du möchtest gern selbst einen Beitrag geben? Wenn du etwas im Rahmen der Community-Werkstatt anbieten möchtest, füll einfach dieses Formular aus. Wir werden versuchen, so vielen Themen und Gruppen Raum zu geben wie möglich und freuen uns über deine Bewerbung bis zum 30.04.2023. Referent*innen werden mit 300€ vergütet und bekommen die Reise- (bis zu 150€) und Übernachtungskosten (bis zu 120€) erstattet.
Außerdem suchen wir Personen, die uns im Oktober vor Ort unterstützen: Allgemeine Unterstützung bei der Orga (Empfang, Koordination, Raumgestaltung, usw.), Awareness-Team, DGS-Dolmetscher*innen, Englisch-Dolmetscher*innen/ Flüsterübersetzer*innen. Im Formular kannst du dich ebenfalls gern eintragen. Die Vergütung variiert je nach Umfang der Tätigkeit.

Es wird ebenfalls einen Kennenlernspace für Projekte geben, die gern ihre Poster, Broschüren & Co. vorstellen möchten. Es sind auch Projekte willkommen, die kein Mitglied beim BVT* sind und regional arbeiten.

The BVT* invites you to the 2nd Community-Werkstatt /
October 13-15, 2023 in Hannover
– With a call for contributions to the event and the program!
This year, the BVT* Community-Werkstatt will take place for the second time. We are very excited to come together for the first time in presence! Under the theme „Community Werkstatt – Encounters and Alliances: Spaces for exchange, networking and being creative together“, we cordially invite you to Hannover, October 13-15, 2023, at the Pavillon.
The event is open to all trans*, non-binary and gender nonconforming people. For everybody who is trans* and doesn’t know the BVT yet It is also for everybody who already knows the BVT, and also for everybody who is engaged in trans*activism from an intersectional perspective.
We would especially like to welcome perspectives from individuals and communities, such as: trans* sex workers, QTBi_PoC, disabled trans* people, from rural areas, non-academic people, affected by classism, neurodivergent trans* people, younger and also older people.
The Community-Werkstatt is an event that we will shape together! We want to create spaces where different trans*communities can come together, get to know each other, exchange ideas and have a good time. Many different formats like workshops and skillsharing, playshops, networking sessions, empowerment spaces, open discussions, performances, concerts, film nights, an open mic session and much more can take place at the Community-Werkstatt.
Shape the program with us!
You can create spaces where we can come together from different trans* communities, get to know each other, exchange ideas and have fun. We would like to have spaces for BI_PoC only or trans* femme only. Furthermore, there could maybe be spaces for trans*, inter and non-binary people, „over 50“ or for communities in the countryside to strengthen each other, to mention a few examples.
Here are a few more topics for inspiration, but feel more than welcome to bring your ideas beyond that! Public activism, anti-discrimination work, sexuality and self-care, trans* history, decoloniality, critical whiteness, biographical writing workshop, just to name a few possibilities. What kind of activities would you like to attend? We would love to hear about your ideas for the Community-Werkstatt!
You would like to host a workshop? If you would like to offer something as part of the Community-Werkstatt, also fill out this form. We will try to give space to as many topics and groups as possible and are looking forward to your application until April 30, 2023. Speakers will be compensated with 300€ and will be reimbursed for travel (up to 150€) and accommodation expenses (up to 120€).
We are also looking for people to support us on site in October: General support with the organization (reception, coordination, room arrangements, etc.), awareness team, DGS interpreters, English interpreters/whisper translators. You are also welcome to apply in the form for these roles. The remuneration varies depending on the activity.

There will also be a get-to-know space for projects that would like to introduce themselves and present their posters, brochures & co. Projects that are not members of BVT* and work regionally are also welcome.
